extreme despair

Postby snowchiv on Sat Feb 26, 2005 9:09 pm

I have been on lexipro, celexa, etc. and nothing seems to work for any length of time. I now have a job I love and a partner I love and live with. I have been depressed now for about ten years. My mother has had it her whole life as well. I go through periods of extreme feelings of despair, panic attacks, anxiety, suicide ideation, depression, etc. I don't know what to do anymore. I accept that I will have to live with dealing with these issues my entire life, but more times than not it becomes absolutely unbearable. I am clinically depressed with anxiety issues. Please offer some guidance.

Hi Ashley,

Many times getting the body completely healthy will help with the health concerns that you describe. Check out our e-book, Transforming Your Health In 90 Days or Less at www.ghchealth.com

I would suggest that you begin on a very healthy diet with the eliminiation of sugar, dairy, hydrogenated oils and all processed foods. Also eliminate anything that is artificially sweetened, especially with aspartame.

Drink half your body weight in ounces of water every day. Exercise 30-40 minutes every day. Walking in the sun would be a great idea.

Consider taking Essential Fatty Acids (Flax, unrefined coconut oil or hemp seed oil), B-Complex, Vitamin E, Calcium Orotate, Lithium Orotate and SamE.
