Hi all,
I am just beginning to get into forums of this type and wornder if someone could guide me a bit. I've reviewed the body of the site and find it very informative -- from the perspective of the authors of course -- but that's good. We all have a perspective, and the way the website is presented, I think, is clear, open, helpful, and. . . well, I like being here.
The guidance I'm seeking is help understanding how the forum works. there are lots of subjects posted, but no replies -- if I am understanding the set up.
I have looked at other similar websites, and -- of course -- if one is depressed, it's hard to formulate ideas and hard to write about helplessness and, for me when I'm depressed, hard to connect. But, at the same time, there was some back-and-forth conversation. Maybe I just don't know how to get into it here.
Well, I was going to ask some questions and suggest some thoughts but, first, I guess, could someone tell me if I'm reading the site correctly? (Is there a conversation going on that I just don't know how to get into?)
Thanks, sara

Hi Sara

From what I understand this forum not only gives out a lot of information through articles, but also encourages communication and dialogue from it's members. Replies to articles are welcome as that is what starts discussions.

Go ahead and ask your questions. I, for one, would love to hear them and also any good advice that you may have.

Thanks.

Gretchen

Hi Gretchen

You can compare this site to one like the stress focused http://www.stopstress123.com and find that its far more personal here. There actually are people here who offer useful, yet individualized information, unlike stop stress123.com.

The more we share and contribute to these forums the more value we'll get out of them
